<p>How hard is it to balance both? I know at some big schools band is extremely time intensive, but I have also heard Purdue has a lot of engineers in the marching band. Any first hand info or experiences would be appreciated!</p>
<p>I know several people who did engineering as well as marching band. I know a few who are still in the band even though we’re rising seniors. However, I know more people who quit marching band and do concert band instead after sophomore year. It’s harder for some majors to schedule out time for the 3:30-5:30 M-F practices, but it can be done with minimal conflicts.</p>
