I applied to the LSP too and got interviewed yesterday. so yes you are correct. Your application is with the LSP and will reach out to you regarding an interview if they think you will make a good candidate. And yes again, you can get accepted into Marist and not the LSP and vice versa! Hope this helps!!
Thank you! That was very helpful!!! May I ask when you sent in your LSP application? Mine went in just end of November as my testing wasn’t done until then. My EA application has been in since October
My daughter applied EA early-mid October. Portal shows application is complete as of 11/17. Any idea when we should hear a decision? I have heard of others that applied later and have a decision. Should we really be concerned since the webpage says EA decisions by mid-January? I am not aware of any additional application being sent to the LSP. Any thoughts are much appreciated. This is all new to us! Thank you!
Yes, I submitted mine in the late first week of November! I am assuming you haven’t been contacted by them regarding an interview?
No you should not be concerned. As you know, they just got flooded with 12/1 apps, so don’t worry! Email them if you feel it is necessary. I called myself and they gave me a full explanation as to what was going on!! Feel free to call them they are extremely helpful!
No not yet. Does that request come via email?
yes. it is very competitive, but don’t worry. Hopefully, you will get one!

Did you get merit w/ your acceptance?
I haven’t but my letter was quite different as it was sent by email. I believe all of that information should be coming soon.
Has anyone seen merit over $15 per year? I think that is the highest I’ve seen on this thread.
I have been wondering the same @Glodoll
I’ve only seen 15K so far as highest
The new tuition for 2021/2022 was just updated on the site. It is $60,130 before books etc.
My daughter was accepted EA on 11/27. She got 20K merit.
Congrats! That’s the highest I have heard. Can you list her stats fir comparison? I sent an appeal for increase in my daughters merit. Ty
100.3 GPA, 1380 SAT, many AP and honors courses, 5 on all the AP exams,
200+ hours community service, several leadership positions, peer tutor in 3 subjects, work experience.
My daughter applied ea back in Early October, strong stats. We are still waiting. It’s her first choice school and the last one we are waiting to hear from.
My daughter had stats in top 75% & was accepted however merit not where we need it. Appealed for a reconsideration as it was my D first choice. She even did their pre-college summer program. Waiting for a response
We are still waiting, my daughter applied for the year in Italy, I wonder if that takes longer??
What was the appeals process? Through admissions counselor or finance department?
