@3xcollegeparent I called adm counselor and she gave me the email to send it to. We haven’t heard back yet.
What’s going on with Marist this year? Applied to a bunch of EA schools mid-October. Heard from everyone except Marist. Are they usually this late? So frustrating
Same here for our son
I think the EA date was till 1/15. My D applied 11/1 and heard 11/27
On the Marist website it says that you will receive a decision by mid-January. I’m guessing that it may be longer this year because they extended the EA deadline to December 1 and maybe got more applicants. I have multiple EA schools that I applied to in early October that I won’t be hearing from until late January.
My son applied EA in late October and received decision in mail in late Nov. 4.2 W GPA. 3.7 UW GPA. Did not submit test scores (canceled due to Covid 2x). 6 AP’s. Honors and Accelerated Classes. Politics and history junkie. Summer intern at State House for 3 years, Peer Mentor, Model UN officer, history club officer, philosophy club officer, Ultimate Disc Club team, young democrats, young republicans, aviation club, chess club…20K Merit. He loves Marist. Good luck to all!
Anyone still waiting? Applied early October, very strong stats… thought we would have heard the latest this week. Heard from all other schools we’ve applied to. We run to the mailbox daily, anxiously awaiting that big white envelope!!
We are still waiting here as well our son has heard from 8 of 12 EA schools
Still waiting! Applied in October as well.
I figure as long as there’s no small envelope in the USPS delivery digest there’s still hope!
Hi there, I got $10k in Merit. Need to appeal for money to go
I’m assuming now that it’s the holidays, no new acceptances will be mailed until after the 1st?
Probably
It wasn’t in our mail today…
We are waiting for an answer on merit appeal and they said two weeks but add on holiday time as closed till 1/4 so the next 10 days will be nothing.
Read that this was largest EA pool in Marist history
I am happy for Marist. So many schools struggling for applicants rn.
DD applied 11/1 and we haven’t heard yet so I don’t think she’s a top choice but that’s ok.
So we received a lovely yes red envelope but no mention of scholarship…
a bit devastated as he’s received so many offers -we anticipated something???
Very bizarre oh well.
Daughter just found her acceptance in an email from last week! Have been checking the mailbox for weeks, no red envelope. Check emails!!!
Same, nothing in the mail, just email. No mention of merit aid.
The merit would be in the letter not the email
