Marist 2025

did anyone here apply to the Learning SUpport Program by any chance??

I’m hoping, we are going to wait until she hears from some other schools.

It can’t hurt to appeal, once she has other offers in hand. I’m sorry it wasn’t better.

@greta2000 I filled a reconsideration appeal but have not heard back yet. We submitted 3 other offers

Just got my acceptance email yesterday and I’m still waiting on the letter with the scholarship details… anyone know if they try to meet your EFC?

What did you need to do to file an appeal? Was it through a special form or emailing a certain department? Thanks

I called AO & she gave me an email to send a request to. We included others merit offers that were higher & her senior year grades so far. No response yet

@3xcollegeparent did you get your merit letter?

Just got it. $15/yr. going to start the negotiation process bc it’s her first choice school. She got way more and almost all her other schools. Going to email admissions today but I’m assuming no one will respond until next week.

My D only got 12K & she did their summer program, showed so must interest. We were very surprised. It’s always been her top choice so we will see
4.15 W GPA, 1330 SAT, varsity sport, founder of a writing club & numerous other EC.

What is their total amount for tuition and room and board?

$60K I believe

Still haven’t gotten the snail mail package yet
Got the acceptance email 12/24 so hoping the letter will come any day now.

Same here. I’m assuming it’s due to slow mail service.

DD got her email and was over the moon! Then got the packet the next day and there was no mention of any merit. Do I assume she got no merit aid? She’s an average student but very involved in HS ROTC and theater. This is her first choice but doesn’t look like we’ll be able to afford it

@MBDuff my D’S merit came in her letter

Our merit did come in the snail mail packet.

I just got my acceptance with 20k/year in aid
99.0 W GPA, 35 ACT, Accounting major, DECA 2x ICDC qualifier + exec board, president in math team + Future problem solvers club, captain of basketball + track and field team, DECA community service award, took 4 APs with 5 on 3 of them and a 4 on the other (we only allow APs junior year and on, I took hardest courseload possible), 1st decile for our school (we don’t rank), no major awards

Congrats! Is that your top choice? @brendanmac1313

Nope. But both of my parents went here, so I will definitely be considering it
