Any idea when and how we will receive notification?

The old fashioned way-mail.

Accepted! i just got my letter today. However, does anyone know where to go to view your financial aid info??? im having trouble figuring it out

My D received her letter last Thursday. Waitlisted.

My daughter accepted EA. Anyone hear about Honors?

Hello All, Looking for an opinion please. My daughter is torn between Marist (with $12K scholarship) or SUNY New Paltz. Major in Biochemistry and Minor in Art. Sorry, I know I should start a new thread but I am not sure how. What do you think?

Depends on what your priorities are. If you want the better school it is Marist by far, if you want cheaper then New Paltz wins. I attended SUNY Albany and got great education for a great price but I paid for it myself. Price would be the only reason I could see that New Paltz would be anyone’s choice between the two. My son is a sophomore, also got the Presidential Scholarship, and absolutely loves everything about being at Marist.

cdrnole, Thank you for your input!! We attended the accepted students day over the weekend and we paid the deposit to Marist today. I am so glad to hear that your son is happy there. Anything you can tell me about Freshman dorms would be greatly appreciated. Did your son get tripled? Easy to make friends? Thanks again!!!

No problem Hallow and welcome to the family. You must be very proud of your daughter for getting in and getting a Presidential Scholarship.
Freshman dorms are not too bad; fairly typical actually. My son was in Champagnat his Freshman year and liked the fact that it was connected to the Dining Hall so he did not have to go outside to go eat. Leo and Sheehan I have heard are fine too. Fortunately he was not tripled and he got in with a nice group of kids. Being a swimmer, he had friends before he ever arrived on campus but he said it is very easy to make friends at the school as that is just the culture. He also made friends at the orientation so your daughter will also probably have friends before she even goes next September. Best of luck to her and you.

cdrnole, Yes, I am very proud and glad that the decision was a good one. Thank you for the information regarding dorms and friendships. We will be signing up for orientation in a few weeks. I will pass all your comments along to my daughter…thanks again :)
