My daughter is going to graduate from a state undergraduate business school with a degree in marketing this Spring. She has done extremely well academically (and socially) and very much enjoys her major. She is considering doing a "management training program" or merchandice training program" as they came to her career day and she has some interviews lined up. Has anybody done this or have had kids who did this? They are both with very reputable stores but Im not sure about it. I think the salary after the 12 week training (which is paid) runs about 40-45,000 for the first position after the training (which is ok but pretty average i think?). She is very interested in merchandise and fashion but Im not sure about this. One is for store management and one is for merchandising. I would love to hear about anyone leses experience with this. Thanks so much!
