Markets and Society

any1 know wut this is??

yeah i wanna learn more about this, too..

where did you guys hear about it? I haven't...

they sent me a letter saying i was like invited to take part in it

well not me :( did it come along with the scholars packet? Is it an honors thing, a community service thing, a specific major thing??

lol dude i have no idea, its a business thing it seems but its thru like divisions of letters and sciences, which is weird cause i wanna go pre-med....

OK thanks I'll ask around. i am in the smith school but I really want to do anything that involves marketing. o well....

lol cheapseats-if ur in the business school, ur not gonna get into markets and society. that's for people who didn't get into the business school cuz my boyfriend got into that situation. he was placed into the college of divisions of letters and sciences and was invited to markets and society because he showed an interest in business but did not get INTO business school. so, don't worry.

OK thanks. I will tell my buddy about this. i am sure he will do it. :D

uhh idk bout that....i never even applied to the business school

after looking into it for my friend it seems to be a letters and sciences thing. If you didn't apply to the business school maybe they just give them out to people for an option. What did you put down as your major? What is it now?

hmm, well, my bf put down accounting..and then econ. he didn't get into smith but umd knew he had an interest in it. so, as far as i know, it's for people who are interested and didn't get in. doogie--i'm not sure what ur situation is, but def call umd and tell them u wanted to go pre-med. maybe they had messed something up.

im under as premed

yeah then u should be in this pre-med category...i think there's a special one just for that...really not sure how that works. but i hope everything works out.
