Hi! it seems like people are getting their decisions in the mail. I would love to know who has been accepted and into what college!
I have been accepted to the college of health sciences (clinical laboratory science major here). If other circumstances allow it, I would love to go here.
Also! Did you guys get a personal note (not handwritten but typed) in your acceptance letter? Iām trying to figure out if it was just an automated addition to the letter but mine talked about my essay and what I wrote in there.
I didnāt get a personal note, so I guess your essay was astounding! On mine, it talked about my āleadership,ā but Iām sure that every one got that. Iām not sure if Iāll go to Marquette. Itās literally a ten minute drive from where I grew up and I was only give $14,100 (which leaves a lot of money left to pay.) My school orchestra goes there for a music festival every year, so Iām pretty acquainted with the campus. Weāll see how everything goes! Congrats on getting in!
I got my letter in the mail as well! I got accepted into the school of nursing. In my letter, they talked about my commitment to community service, so I guess they were somewhat personalized! Congratulations!
@aimlesswriter I read somewhere where a man who worked in admissions would literally write handwritten notes on the decision letters. He would go through several pens. So I suppose this is more efficient
My Dās acceptance letter mentioned that her essay shows a commitment to family, and detailed how Marquette has special family programs. Iām impressed that Marquette would spend that much time on personalization.
My D received her acceptance letter into the College of Health Sciences, but said since she applied for Athletic Training/ Doctorate Physical Therapy, that committee would be meeting soon and she would hear mid-February. Her letter also referenced her community service. She is excited to be accepted to Marquette but really wants to know if she made it in to her program. Her major trumps all. That decision will be a make or break factor for Marquette.
My acceptance letter had a paragraph that was directed at something very specific on my application, which I was pretty surprised by. Itās nice to know that I wasnāt just getting the same automated message as everybody else.
Son was accepted too! $16,100 scholarship, but is waiting on a decision for physical therapy etc. This will make or break his Marquette decision too. Anyone going to the āMarquette Dayā in February?
My daughter got a letter saying she was waitlisted in the MAT program. We are so confused because she applied to the DPT not MAT. I guess you send one application to both programs?
I was accepted into the College of Business Administration and received $23,900 Pere Marquette Scholarship and a $8,500 Marquette Grant, which put MU ahead of my other schools. Looks like Iām headed to Milwaukee
My S accepted DPT program - health science - physical therapy , wonder anyone come to scholarship competition and open house on 2/12? There is exam for it in the scholarship competition, need choose one of the four area:
Biomedical sciences;Clinical laboratory science;exercise physiology and speed pathology and audiology. I guess for my S is going to select exercise physiology? is that right? on the other hand, we are still waiting to get to University of Illinois Urbaba-Champain, they donāt have PT program, they has Kinesilogy, and after 4 years, need pass the exam to get in graduate school(that is 7 years), we are ILL resident. tuition are the same, Marquette has 6 years program, University of Illinois Urbaba-Champain school as whole more well known, ranked high #44 at Best Colleges US News. and Marquette raked #89 , but Marquette PT program Ranked #15 in the Nation. My S also got in University of IOWA; Ohio State University. All these University all 7 years program.
