My husband and I got married in January 2013. On my 2012 taxes I filed as a dependent (I was in nursing school a majority of the year and lived at home) and my at the time fiance filed as single. I have never received aid and when I went to file it asked if I was married as of today and I put yes. From then it said I was considered independent and asked me to list my husband and I's wages, income tax, etc. Do I just add the numbers of from our different taxes put them on the same line? Help! I am so confused :(

Yes. Because you are married, you use the income (and assets) for you and your husband…not your parents.

The FAFSA will ask for your income and assets. They will also ask for your husband’s income and assets. You must list information for both you and your husband.
