<p>Marshall</a> Scholarships: Winners Announced</p>

<p>Sarah Vander Ploeg ’08 has been named a Marshall Scholar for 2008. She’ll join three of her fellow Princeton seniors who were previously named Rhodes Scholars as all four head to the UK for the next two years. All Rhodes Scholars attend Oxford. Marshall Scholars are able to choose from multiple institutions and Sarah, who is a Woodrow Wilson School major with a certificate in music, will be studying at the Royal College of Music in London.</p>

<p>Leading the list of institutions with Marshall Scholars this year was the United States Naval Academy with three scholars. It was followed by Stanford and Yale which each had two. Princeton’s single scholar this year is a drop from the four it had in 2007.</p>

<p>Within the Ivy League, every school but Dartmouth was represented:</p>
