Marshall sets up a trap for Leventhaliers : The trap is Supplemental Application

So its quite clear now that most of you who wished to pursue the Accounting at Leventhal must be waiting for rejection letters because only 2 out of quite a many students were accepted to Marshall to pursue degree at Leventhal in accounting.

The trap that Marshall orchestrated for the new transfers is indubitably "The Supplemental Application" where it clearly specifies that the applicant must either choose Business or Accounting.

When I spoke to the Ugrad admissions at Marshall they told me that students who want to pursue accounting at Leventhal must first be accepted into Marshall and then change their major for Accounting after spending one semester at Marshall

But how can be the admittance rate to Leventhal .... so low? and second of all if their is no transfer admissions for Leventhal than why does the USC Factbook state that only 2 students were accepted for Leventhal.

48 views... no reply... that deserves a HUGE!!! BUMP

It's a tarp!

You are misunderstanding the chart. Those are the students that enrolled at USC with that major. More than 2 were accepted.

Woman.Of.Troy... sorry...but even 2 ENROLLED is too low .. isn't it?

Yes, it's insanely low. I know Leventhal is competitive but, wow!!! Are you an Accounting major by any chance?

yes i am ...... thats why i am so concerned now!

Good luck. :) I'm anxious/nervous/excited as well.

but have u heard any school accepting 2 ... 1... and 4 students.... at the end of the day its not Wharton!!!!!

I am dying to call USC Monday morning

You should ask them if they have any stats available, specifically, if what you saw on here about your major is true.

i think its true... because the link relient K gave for the stats was a USC - University of Southern California domain

Yeah. Maybe you could ask for an estimate of how many they hope to accept for this fall. They may slip and tell you some additional information about admissions that would be to your good to know and relieve your anxiety. (ex: when you should be expecting an answer, maybe?!)

I don't understand, I will not respond.
