Maryland Day Saturday!

Who's ready to get some free stuff?! And cupcakes. :)

It was such and awesome time last year. Hopefully the weather cooperates this year. Last year was beautiful.

Also, if you're there, I will be performing with the Argentine Tango Club at 1:00 pm on the Big Top stage. We're after the Generics and before the Treblemakers, which should mean a big audience...which is exciting and nerve racking at the same time.

Sounds fun! Wish we could go, but we'll be there in 6 weeks for orientation. Save us some cupcakes. ;)

argentine tango club?? that sounds awesome-- i wish i could stop by to see it, but i'm volunteering with my sorority to staff the information services booth on hornbake plaza.

hope you do great!!

Can you guys please take some videos of the event?

I dont like the ones on Youtube as they are official.
Unofficial videos would cover the event in a much better way :)

Waiting for videos please :)

sorry gibbu-- didn't see your post until today. there's not much "unofficial" that goes on at Maryland Day since the whole thing is really for the community. students participate but it's not like the day is a good glimpse into student life.

D posted the UMD flag/logo made of cupcakes......she was working the 4:30 am cupcake shift. Pics look great, and it looks like she had a fun time. Don't know if she caught your Argentine Tango, sbn..... she was on a flight to go visit bf at CMU later in the day..... how did it go????

Performance went well...there are a couple videos of it, which I'll try to post tomorrow.
