<p>I am interested in either BioE or ChemE at the University of Maryland College Park. How good are these program at the university? Professor quality/teaching ability, workload, opportunities for research...?</p>

<p>Both majors will likely be similar in professor quality, workload, etc. U Maryland-College Park is a great university. </p>
<p>I personally think ChemE is currently the more marketable degree to a much wider range of employers, but BioE is up and coming…I just don’t think there are as many employment opportunities for the amount of kids pursuing it these days. Just my $0.02.</p>
<p>Those are just the main two I’m considering right now. I really liked the BioE department at Maryland, but ChemE seems equally interesting. </p>
