Masonic Award? Please help..

My principal told me today that I won the Masonic Achievement Award (boy junior) at my school.
I'm trying to find more information about it online but I can't find anything...

What is it?
Is there any scholarship money involved?
What is the organization that sponsors the award?
IS IT PRESTIGIOUS?
Any Harvard students who received this?

Thanks!!

It sounds like a school-specific thing. Ask your principal or somebody at your school.

it sounds freemasonry

Google should be your best friend: http://www.pmyf.org/scholar/book/msrg.pdf

I’m guessing that you are from Washington state. I won the Masonics from the state level last year. One person gets selected from state and receives $1000. One girl and one boy gets selected from each school and receives $500 each. So for me, I won $1500 total.
Yes, they are from the freemasons. Their award ceremony is extremely long because they include their religious ceremonial stuff. Personally, I was a little creeped out. I don’t think the award is too famous/prestigious… If it was I would not have gotten it lol congrats though!
