<p>There is SO much snow outside! I think we're definitely going to break the DC record with this storm.</p>
<p>Ha, there were almost 3,000 people who accepted the invite on Facebook. I’m looking forward to seeing pics (other than the ones I’ve already received on my phone!). I liked the part in the invite…bring a friend, we don’t anyone to get lost in the snow…</p>
<p>DS was going to the diner and a mini avalanche fell from a rooftop directly on top of him, burying him almost waist deep instantly!! We laughed so hard just imagining the sight of him. He swapped sand for snow!</p>
<p>D just posted video on her facebook page of kids trying to run through the snow to get onto the mall for the snowball fight…one girl’s jeans were covered in snow up to her backside…the snow was that deep (or she was that short!!) Jewels, I’m sure everyone around your S got a good laugh, too after they found out he was ok!!!</p>
<p>It was amazing… fun times. 
We tried to have a race in the snow, but it’s rather exhausting to sprint through snow that’s over a foot and a half tall, so that didn’t last too long. There were also a few people who were snowboarding / skiing on the hill behind McKeldin. A very wintery day. </p>
<p>I did like how, at one point during the snowball fight, the underclassmen had led a charge into the upperclassmen side of the mall, and to celebrate our victory, we all sang “Hey, You Suck!” to the upperclassman. Gotta love Maryland spirit. :)</p>
