Hey guys,

I'm new here and I thought you guys might have the knowledge to help me.

I'm considering doing either a Master in Finance or in Financial Economics.

I'm currently in my 3rd and final year of my Bachelor's degree in Economics in a Swiss university.

I wish to do my master in the UK, US, Canada, maybe even Norway, Sweden.

I want to work in the finance, banking, economics industry later on (investment bank, commerical bank, financial services,...). I do not wish to work in academia.

The world of Investment Banking fascinates me: Goldman, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Paribas,...

I'm am truly willing to bust my a$$ off to earn lots of money (I'm not gonna lie).

At first, I wanted to do a Master in Financial Economics (also known as Master in Economics AND Finance) because I enjoy macroeconomics, public finance and finance, investing, (for example the current euro zone problems are fascinating to me) but I've been reading up and it's much more theoretical than I thought and it seems that it's more for people that want to do a phd later on and work in academia, which I do not want to do.

What do you suggest?

thanks
