In addition to the fall 2009 thread we should also do a Class of 2012 Master List because the majority of applicants are applying for the 9th grade.

Most of the posters that have been here for awhile actually aren't in 8th lol. E.x, me saer italian tom..im not sure what grades the other long time posters are in.

O_O

Saer & Tom aren't in 8th?

I'm in 9th. tom's in 9th too? :D

I'm in 9th too!

Toms in my grade....10th.

Still it would be better if we did one big one, then every grade did individual ones.
How would the logistics work with one big one?

mpicz: School A Accepted School B Accepted (10th Grade)?

abc: That's about what we had thought of earlier. We were also thinking about going by school.
Acceptances
School A: you, me, them
School B: you, them
Rejections
School C: you, me, them
School D: you, them

Etc.? So you can easily see who may become your classmate next year. We'll probably have a matriculation thread, too, to see where people are definitely attending.

We could do both. It would be nice to see your future classmates, but I am also interested in viewing the decisions of other CCers.

Yeah that's a good idea. Doing it by school, but then breaking it up by, like "Exeter Acceptance" Exeter Rejections" Exeter Class of 2011 Matriculation" etc.

Yah, but won't you have to go to revisit day before you are sure about your decision. This one decision will change the course of your life, so it is important not to spontaneously choose.

Not everyone can afford that.

I guess...

but if you live withn a driving distance, you should revisit.

Well ya, cuz then you can afford it most likely. Its different paying for a flight, then rental car, hatel, then fly back.

i think if youve already visited the campus and youve already had our interview there and you liked it and get accepted, theres really no need to go back and see it again and have your parents spend the extra money. personally, ive only visited 1 out of the 2 schools i am applying to and i would go to see the other school if i get accepted there. but if your parents can easily afford for you to go to all the revisit days you want, go for it. you might see or notice something that you hadnt before.

well...

Lets say that you applied to all the HADES. You love them all equally. When you get your decisions you were accepted to every one. Wouldn't you feel compelled to revisit? If you didn't it would feel like a misses opportunity.

I agree with your statement benevolent. Some peoples parents can't afford tospend the extra money to go to revisit days on top of airlinetickets, books, supplies, and tuition. For those who are lucky, revisit days are definitely a plus and a help.

hey guys, all waiting for march 10th!

welllll guesss what!
I got an early acceptance to Lake Forest Academy! apparently, they let their academic decisions out on the first, and I just got my "fat" package today. I live in Korea though, so that was pretty fast. I got a bunch of goodies too :P lol

well.. now i have to wait for my other schools (ADES + mx, cate, etc.). hopefully i'll get similar news!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE, JUST 9 MORE DAYS >.< HANG IN THERE

Now its 5!!!!

nice first post =P
