It is a separated application process with required GPA etc.
Otherwise, VCU is a 2+2</p>
<p>Update: UT Austin changed their program last fall so that freshman are guaranteed acceptance into the Nursing school for all four years. However, they also lowered the acceptance rate for freshman- I heard it was 17% this year, out of ~1,000 applicants. I’ll be a freshman in the Nursing program at UT starting this fall! Hook 'em! </p>
<p>I should add that Pace University only have Nursing program in their Westchester Campus, Nursing is not available in the Manhattan or any other campuses. </p>

<p>A couple of changes that started Fall 2014, San Diego State University is now direct admit and Dominican University [San Raphael, CA] is now non-direct admit requiring a secondary application after completing prerequisites.</p>
<p>U of Minnesota is now all guaranteed admission! </p>
<p>From the website:</p>
<p>If accepted to both the University and the nursing program, you will enter as a Freshman Nursing Guarantee student with the benefit of knowing you have already been accepted into the nursing program and will begin your nursing major after your freshman year.</p>
<p>While the nursing program does not formally begin until the sophomore year, you will have the opportunity to meet and get to know your nursing classmates and be advised on pre-requisite courses and other preparations during your freshman year on campus.</p>
<p>You should add Fairleigh Dickinson University to the list too. They have a Metropolitan campus which is in Teaneck, NJ and Florham campus, which is in Madison, NJ. Both campuses have nursing and I was told by an admissions counselor at my school’s college fair that this is the first year they will both be direct entry :)</p>
<p>Emory University’s BSN program should now be considered direct entry because freshmen entering the college are now guaranteed a spot in the nursing program. But freshmen should check the prerequisite list for guaranteed admission.</p>
<p>Yep. Emory changed in 2013. “The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is overhauling its admission process for Emory and Oxford College students. Beginning in Fall 2013, Emory and Oxford students who are interested in pursuing a nursing degree will automatically be admitted to the School of Nursing without going through a formal application process after meeting the following requirements: (1) students must complete a minimum of 60-credit hours at Emory or Oxford College and (2) students must earn a “C” or better in the prerequisite courses.”</p>
<p>Messiah college in Pennsylvania is direct admit. </p>
