What do you think, is it worth receiving a Master of Economics right after college, if I will definitely apply to a business school later. I know, MBA requires about 4 years of job experience. Will a Master of Economics help in finding a better job? Will it help me when applying to a business school? I major in economics in college.

Anyone? 10char

Not sure. My instinct, as someone who is thinking of getting an MBA in a few years, is that you shouldn’t spend the time or money. You’re going to lose valuable workplace experience and trade it for more educational debt. Sure, it could give you an edge in the job hunt. But, how much of one?

Not real value in Masters in Economics before an MBA. Go work for 3+ years and then go to a top 20 MBA program.
