I'm interested in Texas A&M University's Master of Real Estate program (Master of Real Estate Program | Mays Business School | Texas A&M University). I am a junior accounting major with a very competitive GPA and extracurriculars at a regional university in Texas. I've decided that I have no interest in becoming a CPA, so I am looking for a different career path. I like finance, but I do not want to go into securities trading. Real estate interests me, even though I realize that it is a volatile field. My question has two parts: 1) what do you know about this program, and 2) do you feel this program has a leg up on a MS in Finance? I'm only considering programs in Texas. Thank you in advance to anyone with any advice.
