I'm thinking about pursuing the MSM program at UF in about another year or so upon completion of undergrad. How is a Master degree in business management perceived in comparison to a B.A. in business administration?

It's going to bring you about 10k more a year over a standard B.A.

I have alot of friends who went on to get this degree, and they are doing really well now.

I heard that it attracts a lot of different people from various majors. Does it prepare you for management/finance related jobs pretty well, regardless of what you majored in?

Yes, it absolutely does.

The MSM program is designed for individuals with a non-business undergraduate degree and little or no work experience, who want to gain business knowledge which can be applied to a variety of careers. The curriculum provides skills that encompass the art and science of management, and prepares candidates for successful entry-level placement in management, consulting, or financial service positions. Graduates enter the workforce prepared for the challenges of managing in a rapidly changing work environment.

You have a good GPA, but I would suggest getting over an 1100 on the GRE (which really isn't that hard).

Thanks Sobick, appreciate the help.
