<p>I've heard rumors that the code works for 2 semesters as long as the series is taken back to back. If this works, then I won't buy the massive package from the bookstore and just hunt down the textbook + lab workbook elsewhere.</p>

<p>Yup, it does cost money, and considering that ash316's first and only post was advertising this website, I wouldn't be too surprised if he or she works or is involved with the website in some way. The worked out solutions to all the physics problems in Giancoli are on the internet and they aren't very hard to find.</p>
<p>In case people are wondering about the original question that I posed, the answer is yes, Mastering Physics codes can work for more than 1 semester.</p>
