Masters Aerospace engineering

Hi,

I am currently in my second year at Gatech, I am admitted into the 5 yr BS/MS program. I was wondering whether I should stay at gatech or try to do my Masters at MIT, Stanford, or Caltech. Is it worth it to take the GRE if I already have a 5 yr program from Gatech? Also I have a job out of college already through the SMART scholarship. My current overall GPA is 3.60. Please give me your opinions!

Thanks,

I am in EE, not Aero, but I would say to stay the course - if you want the PhD later on you can apply to those schools from a strong position, and if not GaTech is still a great name on your resume.

It also may be a bit hard to switch your schools with the SMART scholarship, I dont beleive they will fund you for another school as the degree program would be a different one. You also would have to work this out with your sponsor. Either way, I wouldnt see much of a point of switching out. If you really do want to go to another school to learn more, cosmics idea about PhD certainly is a good one.
