Masters degree and traveling

I am going to be applying to Masters programs next year for School Psych. I am looking close to home and I am researching other schools in the US that reportedly have some funding. I know many people that travel for PhD programs because they are usually well funded but how do people support themselves with a masters? I would think the R &B and other expenses would just add to the bill. Anyone have any ideas for making it work?

You really have to look into each program. If a college gives you 1/2 funding which is workable but then you have to pay 4000 or more for a place to live, will you have that money, will you be able to work and how much?
Also if you have undergrad loans, you must calculate the whole amount together and see what the end amount will be, is that a workable amount?
