Im majoring in Mechanical Engineering for sure. What Masters degree should I get? I feel as though theres too many people out there with a masters in this. Which focus of study should I get a masters in? I would like to focus on something specific so i could stand out a little bit better and hopefully will help me out longterm in my career. Should i do this or just get my Masters in Mechanical Engineering?

A masters in business is what you would need if you wanted to get into management. Good luck

I think if you just get an MS in Mechanical Engineering, you’ll be fine. Right now, the key is to try to find a professor who does research in a particular field that sounds interesting to you, and talk to him or her about being a research assistant at the undergrad level. Then, when it comes time to apply to grad schools, try to get a research assistantship at the graduate level. For one thing, your grad school tuition would likely be waived and you’ll get a small salary on top of it, and also, you could put your research accomplishments on your resume.
