I have completed a three-year Bachelor’s degree (triple major-Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from India. I was thinking of applying to a few Sweden universities for my masters. The postgraduation admission into Sweden universities is done through a common portal and the entry requirements for Indian students mentions a minimum four-year bachelor’s degree or with honours. Now I have contacted one of the universities and they said that the rules are laid down common for all Sweden universities and so it isn’t really up to them. My advisor told me that they might consider my application if I correctly mention all the credits I have completed. Each application costs me around ₹8,000 (£100).
Have you had any experience with college admissions in Sweden? Should I consider applying?
I don’t have any experience on this topic, but if you are looking for universities in Europe try looking at Ireland and Northern Ireland (UCAS). I think the UCAS application is pretty affordable (not sure about Ireland though). Personally, I would suggest looking into QUB in Belfast. It is a great university!
But, if you are dreaming of Sweden, then apply! It is always worth it to follow your heart.
