I’ve already posted on this thread, but I’m seeking more detailed answers to specific questions.
I’m currently an undergraduate at Stony Brook University, double majoring in Sociology & Psychology with a minor in Health, Medicine & Society. I want to eventually become a Professor in the social sciences department.
I plan to obtain my MSW (Masters in Social Work) and want to do so at either Columbia University or my current institution, Stony Brook University. My question is… Is anyone familiar with the acceptance statistics on Columbia’s MSW program? What specifically would you say they’re looking for in a candidate?
I’d really love for input from a Columbia student, especially if in the social science department.
I am obviously going to obtain my PhD afterward (directly, hopefully) and seek to do so again, either at Columbia, SBU, UNC Chapel Hill, UPenn, to name a few.
