Masters or Bachelors in Construction Management?

Good afternoon,

I am currently researching graduate programs in the field of construction management. I am deeply interested in the construction process and desire to one day manage heavy construction projects. I am currently a senior, graduating in December, enrolled in an unrelated BS degree (Environmental Management) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I have been reviewing the curriculum for both graduate and undergraduate degrees in construction management. It seems like the bachelors degree is much more in-depth and technical. So here is my question.

Would it make more sense to gain a certificate in construction management from UCLA or Berkeley and then enroll in a graduate program thereafter? Or would pursuing a second bachelors degree give better career prospects? If I were to pursue a masters I would more then likely gain field experience.

What are your thoughts? This is more geared towards working professionals.

Thank you!

In construction management, it is all about work experience, not degrees. See if you can get an internship before going for more school. A Masters degree will be over the top without working experience.
