is a BA in geography and an MS in geology a good combination?

I am interested in the SMART scholarship program that the DOD has for gettind more scientists in their labs. a BS chemistry MS geology looks best, but what if the scientist thing does not work out? With a BA in geography I at least have more job opportunuities , right?

My Army friends say I would be a good scientist, but math isn’t really my thing. I used to hate math but now I see it as interesting. I am also not very organized, but I have a good memory.

You seriously think a BA in geography will give you more job opportunities than a BS in chemistry?

The geography department at my college makes a big deal about how many career opportunities are open to graduates, and the chemistry department has nothing to say on the subject. Maybe I am misguided?

Maybe in my state (Montana) there are more geography jobs, because we have a lot of forest land and farm land.

You ever wonder why prestigious universities never have commercials…?
Regardless, play to your strengths.
