Anyone here know or done this program? I am looking at it closely as a stepping stone to a career change when S2 in College.

Looks promising, just thought would ask here. Thanks!

I got my credential and master’s through other institutions, but I do know that, in the world of public education hiring, a master’s is a master’s. No one cares whether it’s from USC, Harvard, or the University of Phoenix. So unless money is no object, get your master’s from the least expensive accredited program you can find. I’m sure USC’s program is interesting and challenging and all that, but so are many other cheaper options, and with the education job market hitting absolute rock bottom, the less debt you have to pay off at the end of your master’s program, the better. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone switch careers to teaching, as rewarding as the field is, because there are simply no jobs, and there aren’t going to be any for the foreseeable future.
