Hello,

I recently applied and got accepted into the MAT@USC program. (Masters in Teaching) I am starting to get second thoughts about accepting because the program is online. I cannot find opinions on this program online and I was wondering what are your thoughts of the program? The only sites I found that comment on this program are affiliated with USC so I dont know, maybe biased?

Anyways, my undergraduate majors are Philosophy and History. Teaching as a profession is definitely an option with my majors but I am not so sure this is a legit program. I do not have my teaching credentials yet, and I hear schools dont like to hire teachers with no experience + masters in teaching because they need to pay them more.

BTW the program would cost me around $43,000 a year. Assuming I get my credentials, pass state exams on time to continue required courses in the program... It's alot of money, in this tough economy..
