Eh people, Canadian kid here. I am gonna apply to a couple schools in Texas and would like to know if I am a match or not.

One thing though: I'm in a unique situation. I will be considered an in-state applicant since my Dad has established Texas residency, and I am dependent upon him (under 18 when I matriculate, so I am in-state too). Now, I don't know if this is a "golden ticket" and that the admission process will be super easy and I'll get in no problem.

The schools I am applying to:
Baylor (Idon't know if the establishing Texas residency helps for this private university)
Texas A&M
UT-Austin

My GPA is in percent (Canadian school), and is probably around 97% from gr. 9 to halfway through gr.11. SAT scores on practice tests are 2100. I wanna get to 2200, but let's say worst case scenario and I just get 2100s. Rank is ~top 2%.

Note: This is not to show off or anything, because I know CC kids have like 2300s scores and such. I am an Canadian, but an considered in-state, so i am kind of confused. Will I be hindered in any way or will I be completely looked as an in-state applicant (I know they say that, but it seems too good to be true). Also, I know UT-Austin is competitive and 80% or so fit into that top 10% rule, and then competition of the other spots are tough (which I would have to compete for since the top10% rule doesn't apply for me since I go to a hs outside of Texas).

Also, do many Canadians go to these schools? And what would my chances be? Match, SAFETY, reach? shouldn;t take long, just wanna gather some opinions to narrow down some schools. Which would you suggest for premed, and what is Baylors premed reputation? I know it is NOT affiliated with BaylorMedColl., but is it still worthwhile, or would UT-Austin be better (if i get in)? Thanks
