Match Me: NJ resident 3.76/4.0 /1410 under $35-40K for applied sciences

It is new, Binghamton isn’t a part of it, my daughter got enough merit from there to make it a little better deal than in state Rutgers.

Thank you. This school was not on my radar, at all. I just signed my D24 up to receive info on the honors college

I think it started last year with some states and that it’s maybe expanding by a couple of more states? I’m not 100% sure on that, but that’s the sense I have.

A lot of kids can get in to out of state schools but not get enough merit to make it cost effective, even vs Rutgers. If I recall correctly all of your children had great stats?

Most yes, and they knew it was the only way they were going OOS or private, 3 decided to stay in state (oldest son with 3.4 uw 30 act did ED at tcnj because of his gpa).

I would research some of the smaller SUNY colleges: Oswego, Oneonta, New Paltz, Brockport, Geneseo, Fredonia, Plattsburgh.

Thanks for putting New Paltz on my radar. The size and location certainly check some boxes for us.

I had assumed Bing was going to be too much of a reach, but in looking through the stats on Naviance, seems maybe not…crowdsourcing opinions on this, please.
