I don’t understand how someone with your rank/gpa can get such a low SAT score. Have you considered taking a prep class? Definitely retake in fall.

Did you all what I posted and my nick name in here? I’ve been here 9 months. My English is extremely suck in real life speaking + SAT is very hard for me. Sometime I don’t really know why I got that GPA/rank, It’s not hard to study in school to get this grade, but it’s so hard to get a higher score in SAT. I don’t want to take prep class because next year it’s my senior year and it’s too late to prep for SAT. SO i school prep it at home, I don’t think I can get higher than this.

Guys please! I extremely need your help!

Apply to test optional schools, where you don’t have to submit any test scores at all. You can search for the thread on CC. Examples: Bates and Bowdoin.

You need to take the TOEFL. Since you have been here such a short time, the colleges and universities will expect a TOEFL score. Some won’t even ask for an SAT score at all.

You also need to talk with your parents about how much you can afford to pay. Once you know that, ask your guidance counselor for help with choosing your college list. If there are a lot of ESL students at your school, your counselor will have good ideas for you.
