“ FAQs. Are Siena community members required to be vaccinated? All students and employees are required to be vaccinated for COVID unless they’ve been granted a College-approved religious or medical exemption .”
From Pace:
COVID-19 BOOSTER REQUIREMENT
“We require that all eligible members of the Pace Community who are coming to campus receive a booster. This includes both residential and commuter students who come to campus, except for those who are unable to be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons. Fully online students will not be subject to this requirement.”
From Elon:
“ Elon requires all students, and strongly encourages employees, to be fully up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccinations with an approved vaccine, including a booster dose when they are eligible. International members of the community may use vaccines authorized by the World Health Organization.”
Clemson and High Point do not require COVID vaccinations.
It looks like University of Notre Dame requires vaccines also.
You will need to check each of these colleges for the accuracy currently of this information. If what I found doing a Google search above is true, and your niece is wanting to avoid COVID vaccine requirements, she needs a revised list of colleges.
Not the SE but how about Creighton? Very generous merit aid, great business school, and Catholic. Not sure about covid vax. Baylor also has a great business program and doesn’t require covid vaccination.
I do not think this is correct. UofSC was recommended based on our experience last year where we were offered in-state tuition as a merit award even though we were OOS.
Oops, I totally missed the part about not wanting to have Covid vaccine requirements. Although there are many states that would not allow their public universities to require a vaccination, the public universities will have higher costs for out-of-state students and are less likely to provide much in the way of financial aid.
I would be surprised if any of these universities had vaccine mandates for their students and their business majors are popular among their undergrads:
You can see the awards below. Anyway my point is UofSC is test optional and uses weighted GPA(presumably their own GPA calculation). Without knowing the weighted GPA of the OP, I would not say they will not get good merit here.
another older thread on weighted gpa calculation. keep in mind a lot of colleges use only the core courses for GPA calculation. even the unweighted gpa can be different from the high school calculation.
