I am afraid that all my top choices will say no, simply because they're very competitive. Could you recommend some good match and safety schools?

Preferably ones with good computer science programs.

Thanks in advance!

Bucknell for match. Lafayette for safety (because they need guys). RPI, Case Western, Rose Hulman, any of the UCs, Cal Poly SLO. UIUC, perhaps. Santa Clara.

Worchester Polytech- safety, and you will get money. Seriously, I think that you can get into a lot of really top schools, including your dreams. What about Cornell or Johns Hopkins as alternatives?

Wisconsin...........

UMich, University of Maryland (top 20 in CS, great merit $$), Rose-Hulman, RIT, RPI, WPI. Keep up the good work!

Practically all the good big 10 engineering schools should be a good match to you.

I know University of Illinois has a good computer science program

None of the UCs are safeties, as you're OOS. However, you'd have a very good shot at many of them, and a resonable shot at Berkeley.
