Match, Safety, Reach Schools

I'm looking for a few more colleges to apply to in the fall. I've used CC's Supermatch College Search, but I wanted some suggestions from people.

Intended Major: Accounting and/or Finance
UW GPA: 3.92 (GPA at the end of last year, I did better this year so it might increase a little)
W GPA: 4.2 (I think?)
Rank: No clue, sorry
SAT Score: 1730
Math: 600
CR: 580
I'm retaking it in October, but I don't think I'll do much better. I didn't study, but I plan on it for this one.

Location: I'd prefer a school in Southern U.S. I hate the snow and cold weather. I'd like to apply to at least 1 school in CA.
Religious Affiliation: None, I do not want to apply anywhere where I'd have to take classes on the bible
Price: Max $30-35g

of Undergraduates: Over 8,000

I'd like to go to a school that the Big 4 recruit from, but that's not a major factor.

Schools I'm Planning to Apply to Already:
University of Miami (Probably EA)
UCF
Rutgers
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Albany

Unless you are out of state, no chance at Binghamton for Accounting. I think Binghamton has practically a 95% placement into Big 4 and PricewaterhouseCoopers fund some type of scholarship for Bing’s SOM. I had similar stats as you when I was a senior last fall and got rejected from Bing. If you want big 4, its NY man. I’m going to Baruch this fall, but will attempt to transfer to Bing. You can check out Baruch, since its cheap and is heavily recruited from the big 4…Just that its full of average city kids (although you will be a big fish in a small pond)

I live out of state in NJ. I probably still don’t stand a chance at Binghamton or Miami, but there’s no harm in applying.

Thank you for the suggestion. Since I live in NJ Rutgers would probably be the best option if I don’t get accepted into an out of state school that has a good accounting program.

Good luck on your attempt to transfer into Binghamton. I hope you get in.

If you can pull your math score to 700 and CR to 600, look at Lehigh. Its business school is highly regarded, I believe it’s ranked number 25 on business week. Also look at Boston College, after suffering 4 years of HS you should expand your horizon
