SUNY Cortland-saftey

I'm thinking about Cornell.

See why I need matches? Ha, I'd love some help/suggestions! =)

Oh, and I've held a job at the local library for almost two years. Intended English major.

Don't know if that info. is all that important, but I thought I'd add it.

Sarah Lawrence. Also, I'm not so sure if Hampshire is really a safety.

Thanks for the suggestion, teenage_cliche, I'll definately look into Sarah Lawrence. And yeah, Hampshire is probably more of a match. I'm not even completely sure I'm going to apply there or not; a couple of my friends have told me that I wouldn't really like it.

Anyone else?

Perhaps Bard.

If you don't like Hampshire, it's unlikely that you'll like SLC. I just suggested it because it's similar to Hampshire.

Hmm.. Bard. I'll look into both Bard and Sarah Lawrence. Who knows, maybe my friends were wrong and I'll love them.

I'll resort to begging: does anyone else have ANY suggestions? I'm bordering on S.O.L. here...

I have kids at both Bard and Sarah Lawrence. They both love their schools. According to conventional wisdom and Princeton Review, both schools were pretty much at the "safety" level but both were first choices. Both kids got accepted at a dozen highly ranked U's and LCAs but chose these two and both couldn't be happier. Choose either because you like what makes them as unique as they are, not simply because they look "easy". Good luck.
