"Match" Schools??

I'm a rising senior, and I have an 88 average, and take rigorous courses. (no aps offered at school). My SAT was a 2040 (770 CR, 710 W, 560 M) but I am retaking it with hopes of a 2250. I think I have pretty strong EC's. Assuming that I get a 2250 on my SATs when I retake them, and am able to get straight A's in my first semester next year, what schools could be considered good "matches" for me?
I'd like a school that is medium sized, if it's a little on the smaller side that would be okay though. I'm interested in becoming pre med, but I want to be able to pursue a non science major if I choose to, so a liberal arts curriculum would be nice. I'm interested in pursuing music (instrumental and voice) and musical theater in college as EC's, as well as volunteer work. I'd like a school that has strong foreign language programs too, with a good study abroad program. Also, I want to go somewhere where the students are interested in activism, political issues, and value intellectual discussions, etc (but know how to have fun too, but aren't all druggies or constantly drinking).
this might be wayy too specific, but if you could suggest some good "match" schools for me, I'd very much appreciate it.
thanks!

Try University of Rochester if you can stand the cold, I have a friend with the exact same interests (music and science) and he likes it a lot.

thanks! i’ll check it out.
anyone else??

I second Rochester.

haha ok thanks

what do you guys think of oberlin? would it be a good match for me?

Oberlin would be good for your interests in student activism and in music.

The 2040 is on target (though the projected 2250 would be much more helpful). The 88, though, is probably a bit low. Are you in the top 10%?

My school doesn’t rank so I have no idea. what about if i get straight A’s next semester senior year? will that help at all?

hey, i’m pretty much in the same boat as you! my college counselor also recommended lawrence university in wisconsin, cause they have a conservatory too like oberlin, but are a little less selective.

hmm thanks…
