matches, safeties, and other questions for someone who can't decide on what he likes?

hi everyone, im in need of some matches and safeties (I have asked before, but I feel like I've had a change of heart in some things). as of now, I know i will be a pre-med student, but I don't know what to major in yet, I am interested in engineering, economics, and psychology. For minors, I was thinking about minoring in a language or philosophy. Is it hard to double major in engineering and economics OR psychology (hard as in..will it be manageable? will I still be able to graduate in 4 years, etc)?

Anywho, in terms of schools, I am open to a lot of suggestions, but here are some preferences:
-Anything under 25,000, including LAC's
-Preferably east or west coast, location in state does not matter that much, I like big cities, but a rural/suburban setting is ok if there is a lot to do on campus or if the school has a college town feeling (from what I've read, somewhere along the lines of UC davis?)
-I like open minded students (not too liberal. not too conservative)
-laid back, nice, mature, welcoming community that isnt stereotypically "cliquish" (ex. jocks, nerds, art kids)
-this is not a significant factor, so if a college doesnt have this, I dont mind, but if you know any schools by the beach, lake, river or snow. I want to try new sports (i.e. wakeboarding, kayaking, white water rafting, snowboarding)
-i am cool with partying
-nice campus
-Strong in pre-med, but has good economics, psychology, or engineering programs and philosophy and language minors

Some quick stats:
-Student in CA
-ranked 16/337 (no ELC for UC's)
-4.0W, 3.8UW
-1830 SAT (550 CR, 630 M, 650 W), 680 Chem, 640 Math II (Retaking all, but would like suggestions for current stats)
-good ECs / recs / essays
-AP scores over 3: Chem (4), English Lang (3), USH (3) --> taking bio, english lit, physics B, calc AB this year, self-studying micro/macro
-(would being enrolled to train to be an EMT in january be a hook?)

Thanks for anyone's help.

I think the UCs would offer what you want. They range in selectivity from Berkeley on down. You seem like a good candidate for one of the UCs. The in-state tuition and admissions advantage are hard to pass up.

bump :)............

bump.. any suggestions? I am sorry, I have posted before, but i just need a couple more suggestions for matches and safeties.

I realize this is a year old...but where did you end up...or are you still looking?

You may want to check out the University of San Diego and Santa Clara University.
