Hi I've been looking at colleges and can't seem to find any matches. Some reaches that I have are UNC chapel hill, rochester, wash u @ st. lewis, and northeastern (low reach). I'm looking for a medium-ish or large school with a good bio or psych program. A nueroscience or behavioral psychology major would be a plus. I'm not too picky on location, but it would be nice to stay east. SAT is 1800, ACT is 29. I've taken 3 ap classes this year (all of them were part of the uconn ECE program, so I'll have transfer credits for all of them from uconn) and i'm a high B/ low A student. I'd be happy to give more detail if needed. Also, it would be great if the college was associated with a med school and had some sort of a guarenteed acceptence if requirements were met.

Thanks for the help and sorry for the long post!

university of miami, florida!!
it seems to be a good match for you and is mid-sized on the east coast!! great for bio!!

Indiana would be a match with your stats. It’s not on the east but it attracts a large number of students from the east. Penn State is probably also a match.

WUSTL may be unrealistic (beyond “reach”) for your stats. By the way, the name is “Washington University in St. Louis” (watch out for these details on your apps). If you are not a North Carolina resident, UNC (Chapel Hill) may be unrealistic, too.

Miami sounds good (as a low reach / high match). Here’s a link to Bachelors/MD programs:

Check out Case Western, Drexel, Loyola University of Chicago, Miami, and Pittsburgh. All of these should fall in match territory for you, more or less.

wow thanks for all the replies! I’ll deff check out those schools and take washington university IN st lewis off my list. I’m happy to hear penn state would be a match, I always thought i wasn’t smart enough The link is great, I live in ct so do you think that I would be able to get into uconn or uconn honors? Do you guys think that I would have a chance at rochester or northeastern, right now they’re my top schools.
