Material + Aerospace double major?

I am thinking about doing an engineering double major.

I got accepted to RPI as nuclear engineering major, and UW as material science engineering major.

Right now I choose UW since it looked like double majoring process in UW is simpler
(also UW's about 130,000 dollars cheap over 4 years....)

So I want to major in two engineering majors that are somewhat related, so I can make full use of my majors.

I think material science and engineering and aerospace engineering would be nice choice, since materials and stuff is major component of aerospace engineering.

Is that so? will i get an opportunity of getting a job where I can use both studies? or are those studies kinda separate?

PS: If those two studies are related, and if I do major them both, I will get much better job offerings, right?

Not really.
