material science and engineering in cmu

hey guys,

I got admitted into CMU and this other school for material science and engineering. I am currently trying to decide between the two. My main question is, what is good about CMU?

Additional questions
1. How are the professors here for engineering? for physical sciences? I looked at the rankings and it seems that though CMU is supreme for engineering, its physical sciences seem to be lagging behind a bit. And because engineering is tied with physical sciences, I want to be able to go to a school that gives me solid foundation in physical sciences. So what do you guys think?

Take a look at [Department of Materials Science & Engineering](Page not found!)
The department at CMU is incredibly well organized. You can start research as a freshman. Research on campus is open to international students.

You should contact some of the professors in the dept. I am sure they will be very helpful.
