<p>I am a Material Science Major at UIUC. I was undecided for 2 years and i ve just started my first semester as an material science engineer this semester. I didnt know whole lot about this major until i got in but i am starting to regret that i chose this major. UIUC engineering department holds a career fair every year and when attended the event i realized that material science majors were not much needed as other engineers such as ECE and mechanical, civil and etc... I feel like I am in a disadvantage in getting a job after graduation.
Are there a lot of opportunities open for material science majors? What kind of jobs are out there?</p>
