how do you know UCLA so fast? Anyways, I am looking into materials science. I've heard that it was a decent field to get into. Companies such as TI and computer companies are always looking for scientists who can develope new technology and materials from scratch. I guess the space program would be a good job provider. Basiclally, everything these days are made of high tech materials. And mateiral scientists are the ones who develop these mateirals along with other scientists.

There might be a minor in EE you can get along with Material Engineering.

You might be able to switch into EE, when some of the kids admitted EE get blown out or change their minds.

All is definitely not lost.
