Materials not yet received

I submitted my application and my counselor mailed off my secondary school report and teacher reports on Oct 30th but now, only my teacher report A has been received. I heard that if Columbia realizes that I'm missing something, they'll send me an email telling me to resend the materials. Is this true? And also, what is the latest date that I can send any materials that are missing? They won't simply throw my application in the reject pile because either my transcript or letter of reference isn't there will they? I know I'm asking a lot of questions but it's less than 3 weeks until decision are released and my parents and I are starting to freak out. Any form of help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

why dont you call them to check if they’ve received everything?

will they actually look for it? I’m under the impression that the people working in the admissions office are too busy to actually go through all the applications… am I wrong? should i call?

You should call them. It does take some time to file all your materials, but just in case you know

Ok, I will call them tomorrow. Do you know if there is a deadline to resend things they havent received yet? Because I know schools like Stanford have a date by which everything must be received. Thanks for your posts guys!
