<p>I'm an international student. Last June I tried to take SAT and got only 410 for Critical Reading. I tried to improve my reading over the summer however I still got a lot of mistakes. Can you guys give me some advices and materials to improve my scores in critical reading and writing ? I already finish the Official guide ( even remember the answer), and Direct Hit. Any other suggestions?</p>
<p>Get a bunch of flashcards; I remember getting Barron’s box of 500, though that alone isn’t enough. Probably need 1000+ vocab. For reading passages, honestly, there’s not much to be done besides doing practice sections everyday. Reading higher-level material also works… a cousin of mine who was an international student read Time magazines… apparently that helps a bit. good luck</p>
<p>For writing, read the BB and learn which rules are commonly tested. I’ve heard Rocket Revolution is good as well.</p>
