I got the Princeton Review Book "Cracking the SAT" for the Math 1 SAT Subject test, and I went through the whole book. However, when I took the first practice test I was not very pleased with my score... 650, with 10 wrong and 1 blank. Maybe part of it was because I am on 2 hours of sleep today, but still, I am not so sure about that score. I have one more Math 1 practice test in this book, and I was thinking to myself that if I could score in the low to mid 700s by the registration date, I would take the test in December, with hopes of a 760 or higher if possible. Do you think if I go through the book again, take the 2nd practice test, and then go through the Barrons book and take those practice tests, that I can somehow reach my goal?

Do it by all means, it will surely help, but don’t get your hopes up too high, you only have a month. I studied for the math 1 test (really hard) for several months and still only got a 680. That is not to say you can’t do it, though, just study as hard as you can and see how it goes.

I posted this right before I took the 2nd test that same day and got a 680 on the second one. Right now I am going through the Barrons which has 3 subject tests. 6 days to sign up, this is going to be tough, lol. If I score at least around a 720 by registration date I’ll sign up. Also, I was on a 4 day retreat with my school, so I really need to catch up with everything
