Math 1 vs Math1C - What's the difference?

In the Tests section on the CommonApp, where you have to choose the subject of the SAT subject test you took.

There's the option Math Level 1 and Math Level 1C and there's Math Level 2 and Math Level 2C; what's the "C"?

I took Math Level 1; I'm not sure whether is 1 or 1C though as I don't know what the difference is.

There is no longer “Math I, Math IC, or MathIIC” It’s just Math 1 and 2 (you probably know this).

I believe that the “C” meant to represent calculator (?). I took math level one, and I just put Math IC on the common application. The common application should really update this.

Hope this helps!

The “C” tests are no longer offered, but they are still listed because some people took them a few years back and are only now applying to college.
