<p>I'm in 54 currently and I'd really like to get to know linear algebra beyond the level expected of the class. Would taking 110 (Haiman) right after 54 without 55 be a bad idea? I would totally take 55 if possible but sadly it conflicts with another class :(</p>
<p>Math 110 lists only Math 54 (not 55 or 53) as a prerequisite.</p>

<p>yes that’s perfectly fine. 110 is a lot more fun than 54 :)</p>
<p>im in math 110 right now and its definitely fine if u jump in right after 54. I would, however, make sure you can do proofs (of course). Like, you should understand the basics of proof writing. If not, just google it</p>
